Description

This plugin is designed to use the weight of the products being purchased in conjunction with the user entered values of the shipping zip/post code, state or country.

There are 2 different ways for shipping to be calculated and 3 separately configurable shipping methods that can be used simultaneously.

Shipping type 1: "none", "add" or "multiply"
When these three zone operators are used the shipping is based on two sets of costs, one for weight ranges and another for zones. These two costs are then used together as the zone operator indicates ("none" means no zones are used).

Shipping type 2: "look Up Table"
As the name suggests all values are entered into the lookup table, this means that for every weight-zone intersection, the cost is directly specified.

      • Each weight range can be separately configured to use zones or not

Installation/Setup Instructions

1. After purchasing this plugin a zip file will be emailed to you as a .zip file, save it somewhere on your computer


2. Log into the administration of your site and click on the 'Manage Plug-ins' button


3. Click the browse button and locate the zip file you saved in step 1


4. Click 'Install a New Pligin'


5. Click the 'Options' button to configure the module


6. In the shipping options section select the shippingCalc.php file


7. Product item weights should be put into shipping variable B.
