Creating spectacular slide shows for your site is quick and easy using this simple slide show plugin. You'll have incredible animated slideshows up and running in just minutes! Your slideshows embed directly into your content pages wherever you want them, no need to view separate slideshow pages or pop-ups.

Optionally set a border and control border width and color
Select a slideshow background color
Optionally include captions for each image
Full control over caption display (change font face, size and color, caption background color and caption alignment)
Optionally add hyperlinks to each image.
Hyperlinks can be made to local pages within the site or to external sites.
Set a target on individual hyperlinks. This allows some links to open in new windows and other to open in place of the current page.
No limit to the number of images or slide shows you can create (1 slideshow per page)
Version v4.9+ required
Make sure that you are running v4.9 or later.
This add-on will not function properly on any version earilier than v4.9.
How to find out what version you're running
Log-in to manage your website with Pro Edition (i.e. http://example.com/sohoadmin)
and look in the bottom right corner of the admin tool window (ie. in the footer).
How to update your version
If you're running v4.8.x or earlier than you've got to first update to v4.9 via Fantastico.
Once you're on v4.9 you can update to the latest build using v4.9's built-in Software Updates feature (Main Menu > Webmaster > Software Updates).

This is an absolutely brilliant add-on. It is so versatile it can be used in so many ways. You can have a slide show any size with a huge range of transitions. Links can be applied to each picture.There seems to be no limit to the number of pictures.
We use it to provide rotating advertising banners to promote special offers, as a showcase to display products, as a sample display of our work etc.
It works perfectly - is so easy to use and has all the options you could want. (Do I get my free beer now?) Only joking - this is really good stuff from Springboard.
