by -- Released on Nov 30, 2007 Open Waters is a completely CSS based template that is XHTML valid. This template has horizontal navigation and vertical drop-down menus. The home page of this template is eye-catching and fun.
Open Waters is perfect for travel, boat/fishing charters, personal sites and more.
The template file contains, the home page template, inner page template and all the CSS styles and images necessary.
The header area on the left is the logo image, replaceable in the Soholaunch admin. The header also has room for a large slogan, also settable in the Soholaunch admin.
The home page uses the Template Box feature along with the standard content area to provide two editable areas. Note: The main content area on the home page is 400px wide and 460px tall. If your content exceeds the height, a vertical scroll bar will appear on that content area.

Home Page Instructions
1. Install the template and set it as your current template.
2. Then, on the right side of the Template Manager page, click on Template Boxes. At the top, click on the Home Page tab. Then set your settings for the Template Box feature on the Home Page.

If you would like to customize the CSS, we recommend the Alternate Style Sheets plugin. This plugin allows you to edit your style sheet as well as offer additional sizes if you want to use them.
If you would like to customize other elements of the template, such as images or html, we recommend the Advanced File Manager plugin. With this plugin you can edit any file anywhere on your site.
