This plugin removes your last excuse about why you didn't back up your website. Once installed, an automatic backup of your site is done for you every month.

If you're really lazy, you can go the backup/restore module and enter your email address. That way, while you're drinking your morning venti no-whip cafe mocha, an email will arrive in your inbox the first of every month and all you need to do is click the supplied link to have a copy of your backup placed on your computer.

If you don't get this plugin, I promise the entire Soho community will laugh out loud when you post that your hard drive crashed and you didn't remember to backup.

Backup Program

I've had this backup program on my website, but can't seem to get it working. I tried to download the program again and I'm having some problems. Any ideas?

Backup Plus was written to enhance the existing Backup/Restore program. Just go under Backup/Restore and you will see a place to enter the email address.

I've downloaded the add for automatic backups. I have the add-on for this program in my control panel (Plug Ins) , but it does not work. It has no area to enter your email address to receive your backups...any ideas?

I'm lead developer for Soholaunch, and we use this on all of our main websites including the one you're looking at right now (addons.soholauch.com). I also use it on my personal dev sites — quite a few new product features would have been lost forever or severly delayed if it hadn't been for this little gem.

I have installed this plugin to several sites I manage and plan to install it to the rest. Works great, saves time, and ends worry about when the last backup was created!Everything is AUTOMATIC!
